The Najad 395 CC is a high-end cruising sailboat designed to offer maximum comfort in a safe yet high-performing vessel. With its central cockpit, it provides protection for the crew while offering luxurious and highly functional interior layouts.
History of Najad 395 CC
Launched in 2017 by the Swedish shipyard Najad, the 395 CC is the result of a collaboration between Najad, Farr Yacht Design, and Ken Freivokh Design. The shipyard, founded in 1971, isn’t as well-known as its competitor Hallberg-Rassy. Nor do the two shipyards produce the same volume of boats. But Najad Yachts is, in my opinion, far too little known.
The alliance between the construction site and the two architects made it possible to create A sailboat combining modern design and exceptional marine performanceIn practical terms, a classic yet modern Swedish sailboat.
Although the exact number of units produced is not as large as many of its competitors of the same size, The Najad 395 CC has established itself as a benchmark in the 40-foot owner-operated cruising sailboat segment.Among its direct competitors are models such as the Hallberg-Rassy 40C, Wauquiez’s Pilot Saloon 42, Le Dufour 410GL and the 42CS Contest.
