The French shipyard Beneteau unveils the Gran Turismo 50, flagship of its new “sport-luxury” range. This model of approximately 15 m follows in the footsteps of the GT 35 and GT 40, with the ambition of strengthening the manufacturer’s position in the high-end express-cruiser segment.
Conception and design
The boats of the Gran Turismo range are clearly identified, in relation to the ranges of motorboats from the Bénéteau shipyard:
- Naval architect : Bill Dixon, specialist in high-performance hulls.
- Philosophy : marriage of Gran Turismo DNA and Japanese influences (“Kanso” for simplicity, “Yugen” for discreet elegance).
- Exterior styling : fluid lines, wide windshield and cockpit open to the outside.
- Alpine Edition (limited): navy blue shell, deep black upholstery, exclusive steering wheel.
The design prioritizes a fluid flow between interior and exterior spaces, in the spirit of “Villa Living”.
