Overseas 40 It brings together the entire philosophy of the project, creating offshore cruising catamaransReleased in 1984, and designed by Gérard DansonIts seaworthiness is excellent, particularly upwind thanks to its daggerboards. The boat is quite light and its windage is fairly low.

Le Catana 40 is the first catamaran from the shipyard of the same nameReleased in 1984, it was designed by Lock Crowther.
Its character is similar to the Outremer 40. Seaworthiness and speed took precedence over living space. Built using a sandwich construction, the Catana 40 weighs less than 5 tons. It is undoubtedly one of the fastest catamarans of their generationand others.
It, too, is capable of excellent upwind performance thanks to its daggerboards. These qualities, however, come at the expense of living space.

How could one not mention a plan? Erik Lerouge in this selection. There was a choice between the Freydis 42, THE City Audrain and the Azuli…among others. Very well built, it was offered with either fins or daggerboards. The boat features two comfortable cabins aft on each hull, perpendicular to them. Three more cabins are available forward.

With the The Lagoon 37 represents the limit of compromise between living space and seaworthiness.The VPLP architectural firm failed to deliver the sensations of sailing. However, its strengths lie elsewhere. They lie in its volume.
For crews willing to use the engine regularly, such as when sailing upwind, it offers exceptional living space. The Lagoon 37 features, among other things, three very comfortable double cabins. Finally, the interior layout is highly functional. And that’s important when cruising.
