The Palma International Boat Show Expands for Its Next Edition

The Palma International Boat Show, scheduled from April 30 to May 3, 2025, is undergoing a significant expansion to accommodate the increasing demand from exhibitors. This initiative aims to strengthen the event’s position as the key meeting point for the start of the Mediterranean boating season.

New Exhibition Area at Club de Mar

For the first time, the show will extend to Club de Mar, adding a 5,000-square-meter space primarily dedicated to superyachts ranging from 40 to 100 meters in length. This area will also host companies specializing in services and equipment for this type of vessel, including repairs, naval engineering, and interior design.

Coordination Between Exhibition Venues

The two exhibition areas, Moll Vell and Club de Mar, will be connected by shuttle boats, ensuring a five-minute transfer. Visitors will be able to access both areas with a single ticket, enhancing their experience at the event.

Outlook for the Nautical Sector in the Balearic Islands

According to a study by the Balearic Marine Cluster, the maritime industry in the Balearic Islands includes over 850 companies and employs approximately 5,150 people. The sector generates around €1.106 billion annually, representing more than 3% of the region’s GDP. However, it still faces challenges, such as a 16.7% drop in boat sales recorded in the first seven months of 2024, attributed to the European economic crisis.

Event Information

This expansion marks an important milestone for the Palma International Boat Show, demonstrating its commitment to adapting to market trends and meeting the expectations of professionals and boating enthusiasts.
